Sudarshan Chemical Industries, leaders in colors for coatings, plastics and ink applications, offers a wide range of new products to meet its customers' growing requirements. Time to market of new products is a key criterion for success.

The new product development cycle was taking longer than expected due to apparent gaps between the technical service department and the R&D. In order to address this business issue, Dale Carnegie Training was invited to partner. After extensive discussions with the key stakeholders to understand the current and desired situation, Dale Carnegie Training designed and delivered a program titled "Collaborate to Succeed" for the teams from the two functions. After the pre-work, the 2 days intensive workshop dwelled on specific business challenges and was facilitated to yield tangible action plans towards the stated business objective.

As a result, new processes and systems were developed, which meet both the technical services and R&D requirements.The two teams started working more cohesively and will lead to shortening of the new product development cycle time.
