"I am pleased to inform you that the
Dale Carnegie Value Selling Workshop has yielded some measurable
results. To cite a few:
Techno India is a group of 7 engineering colleges in West
Bengal, now venturing into Software Park. We made our pitch
with Credibility Statement based on CAT DG sets feature/benefits based
on IPS Sales Manual and TIL capabilities on project execution, customized
product support offerings and integrated solutions. The Customer wanted
us to assess all their power needs for their Kolkata facility with a 100%
back up in shape of a power station. Based on our recommendations, they
have identified specific Captive diesel plant totaling 15 MVA spread over
next three years. They have identified TIL as a partner in this big picture.
The following is the action items:
· Order received for 1st 1500 kva
· CSA for O&M
· Classroom and on field training for 4th year students
· Summer training programme at TIL.
This year National Games is to happen at Guwahati
by November. 2 sets of 500 kva DG were required for stadium
lighting. We approached National Games Committee and made our Credibility
Statement in terms of CAT product and technology dependability, TIL
capability in terms of packaging, execution and localized product support.
The Games committee awarded the contract to Eastern power, contractor
through whom we are supplying.
I am indeed pleased to inform you that this training approach
has been significantly different and the same has changed
the team's capability to think out of the box and is yielding
results. "
